Detail:

Please note, this is not the Lead Professional Training

This session is for those that are currently acting as the Lead Professional for a family and are co-ordinating Multi-Agency support.

It is a forum where you can get advice, guidance and support around:

-processes

-timescales

-managing Team Around the Family meetings

-creating family plans

-progressing plans

-what you could do a if plan isn’t progressing

-holding other agencies to account

-knowledge about local supporting services

-good practice examples

Led by confident Lead Professionals you can use this space to support you through the process of being a Lead Professional and build your confidence to support more families in need.

Please note this is not the space to discuss individual children and families in detail and does not replace the MASP process for threshold discussions.

These sessions will be 1 hour and will run drop in style, so you are able to leave the session as soon as your questions have been answered but you are equally welcome to stay and hear other’s questions and the responses to these.

As these are not structured sessions we have limited numbers to 10 per session so you can get personalised advice and guidance relating to your current concerns.

If you have urgent need of advice/guidance or support, please contact your local Strengthening Families Team.

If you have not yet completed the Lead Professional training session please book on to this as many of your questions about what it means to be a Lead Professional and the processes in Sandwell are answered there.
