Detail:

Delegates should consider the learning from reviews in light of their own practice and how this can be used to improve their work with children and young people, families and adults.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand what Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews (CSPR), Domestic Homicide Reviews (DHR) and Serious Adult Review (SAR) are
  • Learn how and why these reviews are completed
  • To learn about regional and national cases and specific cases that have changed practice
  • To learn from local reviews
  • To understand and utilise the learning from local cases to develop practice
  • To recognise the importance of multi agency working
  • To share how you have implemented learning from reviews
