Do you work with people with hoarding behaviours, Do you have lived experience you can share?  Join us for a half day session to create our own Hoarding Improvement Programme

Sandwell Hoarding Improvement Partnership Programme (S.H.I.P.)

  1. Initial multi-agency launch event: ‘We Need to Talk About Hoarding’
  2. Challenging and changing the way people think about ‘hoarding’;
  3. Reading the room: multi-agency perspectives/professional context of working with people who exhibit hoarding behaviours;
  • Introduction to a group-based intervention model (which will preface the training workshops where we’ll focus on working alongside people on a 1:1 basis;

Launch the S.H.I.P.! Outline the key components of our improvement programme i.e. multi-agency training workshops (see below); the establishment of a bi-monthly (every two months) multi-agency bi-monthly Hoarding Improvement Partnership symposium (starting January 2025 – see below) – outline the purpose, structure and anticipated outcomes of the H.I.P.s
