Multi Agency Threshold

Aim:

To provide professionals working with children and young people a better understanding of Thresholds for intervention.

Learning Outcomes:

To enable delegates to;

• have an overview of legislation regarding safeguarding of children
• understand Sandwell’s thresholds and how to apply them
• assess the most appropriate referral route dependant on the level of need and risk assessment
• know where to seek advice and guidance to support decision making
• keep work focussed on the child
• ensure that full regard is given to all aspects of equality and diversity
