Let's Talk Neglect - Learning from Local Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews

As part of Sandwell's refreshed partnership approach to tackling child neglect, SCSP presents the learning from 2 Local Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews (LCSPR's) published at the end of 2024.  This is for practitioners working with children and families in Sandwell.

Let's work together to tackle neglect and ensure all babies, children and young people in Sandwell to be safe, loved and cared for.

The session will cover:

• The key learning and recommendations from 2 LCSPR's where child neglect was a significant feature
• What the learning means for practitioners individually and collectively
• How the learning links to the new approach to neglect  and what is expected of us all
• Where to find further information and support
